Where did they need help?
When Indesign UK approached us to build a new website for them, their mission and values immediately stood out. They have a strong commitment to understanding each client’s personality, needs, and lifestyle, which forms the foundation of their design philosophy. Our goal was to create a website that not only represented these fundamentals but also provided an engaging and seamless experience for potential clients.
Their old website, while functional as an online platform, didn’t fully capture the essence of their brand identity or the premium experience they offer. It showcased their services however lacked to leave a lasting impression. Additionally, the site suffered from slow loading times due to heavy images and PDFs, leading to a poor user experience. The URL structure was also disorganised, further impacting navigation and usability.
These challenges limited Indesign’s ability to connect with their audience and diminished their online visibility. Recognising these obstacles, we focused on designing a modern, user-friendly website that would align with their brand ethos, improve their online presence, and effectively showcase their skills and expertise.
The website had a dark, dated aesthetic that didn’t align with their innovative and elegant interior design philosophy.
Migrating a huge amount of content (250 pages) without errors proved to be overwhelming.
Navigation was clunky and unintuitive, making it difficult for users to find key information such as services, collections, or client projects.
The website lacked dynamic and interactive elements, such as image sliders, videos, or detailed galleries, that could showcase InDesign’s design projects in an engaging way.
